As General Manager of JL McGregor & Company's Shanghai office, Ian McGuinn is responsible for overseeing daily operations as well as the company's sector research and JLM Pacific Epoch divisions. He joined the company from Thomson Financial, where he worked with public companies to improve competitive intelligence and streamline corporate and financial communications. At Thomson, he also led a cross-functional team including sales, account management, analytical services, and development, and managed relationships with approximately 200 corporate clients, including Intel, Gap Inc., and Charles Schwab. Mr. McGuinn has an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and a MA in international relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University that includes the MBA exchange program at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
